Mixed land use allowed in 355 more roads in Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Providing further relief to traders operating from residential areas, the Delhi government has notified 355 more roads where mixed land use will be allowed in the national capital.

These roads, in addition to the 2,183 roads already declared commercial, mixed use and pedestrian shopping streets in the Delhi Master Plan 2021, were in the city's Rohini (West Delhi), Civil Line (North Delhi), South and Central zones, State Urban Development Department said in a statement this evening.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi had, in compliance with the provisions of the master plan and after carrying out a detailed survey, forwarded the list of 355 mixed land use areas to the state government.

Accordingly, the list had been notified as an amendment to the Delhi Government's September 15, 2006 notification that permitted mixed land use in 2,183 roads.
