LNJP doctors call off strike

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) The LNJP doctors have called off their strike after getting from the government an assurance in 'writing' that adequate security would be provided with them.

Executive member of the RDA Dr Vivek Gautam told UNI that "the Principal Secretary (Health) and the finance ministry have approved of the proposal to overhaul the security arrangements. ''They have also given this assurance in writing, so we have called off the strike in the larger interest of our patients,'' he added.
