Journalist thrashed by school manager

Hardoi, Apr 13 (UNI) A journalist was allegedly beaten up by a school manager, while he was doing videography of mass cheating at an examination centre in the district.

An electronic news channel reporter, Mohit Sharma along with his cameraperson was manhandled by the Higher Secondary School, Lakhimpur Kheri, manager Virendra Singh, while the former was doing videography of mass cheating at an examination centre yesterday.

Later in the day, agitated mediapersons of the channel had demanded stringent action from DM B L Agarwal against the accused.

Meanwhile, the accused had been arrested, police said.
