India refuses to comment on criminal charges against Sheikh Hasina
New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) India today refused to comment on the charges of criminal extortion and murder filed against former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
An External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said there was no formal reaction on the filing of murder charges against the Awami League chief.
Sheikh Hasina faces charges, along with a number of other politicians, of murder relating to deadly violence last year, during her party's agitation against the government of her arch-rival Begum Khaleda Zia and of extortion, filed by a businessman last week.
