ICRA makes sparkling debut on BSE

Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) Credit rating agency ICRA limited today made its debut on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Rs 525 as against its offer price of Rs 330 per equity share.

The scrip touched an intra-day high of Rs 870 before ending at Rs 797.60, up by 142 per cent above the offer price with volumes of 12,426,046 shares, a press release here said.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it closed at Rs 803.25, up by 143 per cent with the volumes of 19,108,425 shares.

The company had entered the capital market with an initial public offering (IPO) of 2,581,100 equity shares of Rs 10 each. The issue, which opened on March 20 and closed on March 23, 2007, had a price band fixed between Rs 275 to Rs 330 per share, the release added.

ICRA is one of the four credit rating agencies in India.
