Haveri, Sidlaghatta record 4 cm rain

Bangalore, Apr 13 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Haveri, Sidlaghatta 4 each, Savanur, Hanumasagar 3 each, Subramanya, Kukanoor, Nelamanagala, Chitradurga 2 each, Raichur, Gudibande, Bangalore City, Bangalore Airport, Hosadurga, Sakleshpura 1 each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and normal over Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Gulbarga, Raichur, Bijapur, Bellary, Kolar, Chitradurga, Shimoga, Tumkur, BangaloreRural, Bangalore Urban districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
