Gunmen wounds CRPF personnel in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 13 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was shot at and critically wounded by unidentified gunmen near a Muslim shrine at Batamaloo here today.
A CRPF spokesman said the personnel, posted near the shrine of Sufi saint Sheikh Dawood at Batamaloo near here, was fired upon point blank by the gunmen while he was on patrol duty.
He was critically wounded and has been shifted to a hospital.
Hundreds and thousands of devotees have today gathered at the shrine on the birth anniversary of the Sufi saint.
A massive manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
