Forex reserves at 200.320 billion
Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) India's foreign exchange reserves rose to a record high of USD 200.320 billion as on April 6 from USD 199.179 billion a week earlier, the Reserve Bank of India(RBI)said in its weekly statistical supplement today.
RBI said the foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms include the effect of appreciation/depreciation of non-US currencies such as Euro, Sterling and Yen, held in its reserves.
The reserve tranche position(RTP) in the international monetary fund(IMF) has also been included in the country's foreign exchange reserves, said the RBI supplement.
