Call for working towards national integration
Hyderabad, Apr 13: The Centre for Peace and True Message, an organisation for national integrity, today called upon the people to uphold the brotherhood of all and work for national integration.
Addressing a press conference here, its president Iqbal Ahmad said, "India is at the crossroads and if responsible religious authorities do not stand up for national integration, the country will disintegrate." He alleged that the politicians divided the country on the lines of cast, creed, religion, languages and regions instead of promoting national brotherhood.
He stressed the need to strengthen the bonds of integration among the people. "It is the responsibility of the common man to strive for national integration, communal harmony and brotherhood, he added.
The organisation would conduct a programme here on April 15 to deliver the message of living together in a spirit of brotherhood.
Islamic Scholar Moulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani and Vishwa Hindu Parishad state president B Manikyachary would speak on the occasion.
