BJP-SP pact in CD episode: Jaiswal
Kanpur, Apr 13 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today alleged there was a ''secret pact'' between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) on the CD episode.
''There is a 'secret pact' between BJP and SP and that is why the state government is silent on the CD episode,'' Mr Jaiswal told UNI here.
''Leaders of both the parties are frustrated and want to disturb social harmony in the state,'' Mr Jaiswal added.
If the Election Commission directed, the CBI could probe into the CD case. Due to the ongoing UP assembly polls, only the EC can take the decision, the minister added.
