Kanpur, Apr 13 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today alleged there was a ''secret pact'' between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) on the CD episode.

''There is a 'secret pact' between BJP and SP and that is why the state government is silent on the CD episode,'' Mr Jaiswal told UNI here.

''Leaders of both the parties are frustrated and want to disturb social harmony in the state,'' Mr Jaiswal added.

If the Election Commission directed, the CBI could probe into the CD case. Due to the ongoing UP assembly polls, only the EC can take the decision, the minister added.

He claimed ''I am sure that the BJP made the objectionable CD as it always tries to disturb social harmony. The party has got nothing to do with the problems of people and is only indulges in vote bank politics.'' UNI ATI RR KP1605 UNI
