BJP for probe into stalled recruitment process
Dharamshala, Apr 13 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Vidiya Sagar today demanded an inquiry by a sitting High Court judge into the government's decision to cancel recruitment of forest guard and anganwadi workers after holding the interviews and physical tests.
Instead of calling only a specific number of the candidates for forest guards through the employment exchanges, it invited over 20,000 unemployed youths to appear for the test and then did not declare the results after holding interviews and physical tests, he said at a press conference here.
Mr Sagar said, in a similar case, thousands of women were called for interviews for the posts of anganwari workers and ultimately the selection process was called off at the last moment.
