Another police complaint against Narayana Murthy

Mysore, Apr 13 (UNI) Former Karnataka Minister and irrigation expert H N Nanje Gowda today filed a complaint with the Vijayanagara Police against Infosys Chief Mentor N R Narayana Murthy for 'disrespecting' the National Anthem during President A P J Abdul Kalam's visit to the IT giant's campus here on April eight.

Speaking to newspersons here, he said he had filed a complaint against Mr Murthy as his statement amounted to showing disrespect to the National Anthem. He alleged that the police department were trying to close the case without filing an FIR against him.

Mr Gowda demanded a detailed judicial inquiry into the allotment of lands to not only Infosys, but also other big industries in the State. The State Government should take necessary steps to prevent such huge land allotment to industrial establishments, he said.
