Three-day national meet of forge scientists from tomorrow

Ranchi, Apr 12 (UNI) Three-day national group meet of All Indian Coordinated Research Project(AICRP) on forge crops will begin at Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) from tomorrow.

BAU Director Research B N Singh said that over 100 scientists from across the country would discuss the strategies of augmenting the production, productivity and area of forge crops at the meet.

Besides, main focuss of meet would be to formulate a strategy over implementation of research efforts so that balanced feed could be given to future generation of animals, Mr Singh added.

Eminent speakers in the meet, include Mr S N Shukla, Assistant Director General, Indian Council for Agriculture and Research and Mr K A Singh, Director,Indian Grass Land and Fodder Research Institute.
