Sena, NCP activists burn Andhra Pradesh CM effigy over Babhali row

Nanded, Maharashtra, Apr 12 (UNI) Shiv Sena and NCP activists, in their separate agitations held at two different places today, burnt an effigy of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajsekhar Reddy over his alleged remarks against Maharashtra and his government's opposition to the construction of Babhali dam in the district.

Shiv Sainiks held their agitation before the collectorate while the NCP activisits carried out their protests at Taroda Naka locality in the city, police sources said.

The agitators allegedly smashed glasses of Andhra Pradesh transport bus on the Nanded-Hingoli road, sources added.
