SCR to run summer specials

Vijayawada, Apr 12 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) will run four special trains during summer to clear the extra rush of passengers.

A SCR release here today said, Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad weekly special would leave Hyderabad at 2150 hrs on Saturdays and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 1040 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the train would leave Visakhapatnam at 1930 hrs on Sundays and arrive in Hyderabad at 0830 hrs, the next day.

The special would be operated from Hyderabad on April 14, 21 and 28, May 5, 12, 19 and 26 and June 2, 9 and 16, and from Visakhapatnam on April 15, 22 and 29, May 6, 13, 20 and 27 and June 3, 10 and 17.

The Hyderabad-Howrah-Hyderabad special would leave Hyderabad at 2150 hrs on Mondays and reach in Howrah on Wednesdays at 0315 hrs.

In the return direction, the train would leave here at 1605 hrs on Wednesdays and reach Hyderabad at 2145 hrs on Fridays.

The special would be introduced from Hyderabad on April 16, 23 and 30, May 7, 14, 21 and 28, and June 4 and 11 and from Howrah on April 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, in June 6 and 13.

Tirupati-Visakhapatnam-Tirupati would run from Tirupati on Wednesdays and from Visakhapatnam on Thursdays.

The special would leave Tirupati on Wednesdays at 2140 hrs and reach Visakhapatnam at 1025 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the special would leave Visakhapatnam at 1930 hrs and reach Tirupati at 0835, the next day.

The train will be operated from Tirupati on April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, June 6 and 13. From Visakhapatnam it would be run from April 19 and 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, June 7 and 14.

The Kakinada Town-Tirupati-Kakinada Town special will leave Kakinada Town on Tuesdays and from Tirupati on Fridays.

The train would leave Kakinada Town at 1900 hrs and reach Tirupati at 0630 hrs, the next day. From Tirupati the special would leave at 1930 hrs and arrive in Kakinada at 0645 hrs.

The service will be run from Kakinada Town on April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, June 6 and 13. From Tirupati it would run on April 19 and 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, June 7 and 14, the release added.
