Rao rules out TRS-TDP stir on Babli issue
Hyderabad, Apr 12 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) President K Chandrasekara Rao today made it clear that his party would not join hands with the TDP to launch a stir on the Babli issue.
Turning down the TDP's call for an all-party meeting for mounting pressure on the Centre as also on Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh governments on the Babli issue, Mr Rao told reporters here that former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was showing a ''farce love'' for the Telangana people.
He wanted to know why Mr Naidu had not spoken against the Pulichintla and Polavaram irrigation projects undertaken by the Rajasekhara Reddy government to 'divert' Telangana's 'rightful share' of Krishna and Godavari waters.
