New Zealand to hold NZ Education Fair on Apr 15 in Mumbai
Mumbai, Apr 12 (UNI) Keen on wooing Indian students to study in its country, representatives from 20 educational institutions from New Zealand will participate in the New Zealand Education Fair 2007, which is being held on April 15 here.
Exciting developments are taking place in the field of education in New Zealand, which offers a large palate of leading courses and degrees. During the fair, the representatives will counsel parents and students aspiring to go and study in New Zealand, a statement said today.
New Zealand has a number of centers of excellence, leading the world in the fields such as Biotechnology, Forensic Science and Marine Engineering. However, of late, Hospitality and Catering courses have witnessed huge growth as well as job opportunities. Accordng to Graeme Waters, New Zealand's High Commissioner to India ''The programmes being offered by New Zealand Universities are world-class and offer a great opportunity for Indian talent to access to 'overseas' education and work experience.'' Twenty renowned Universities and Colleges, participating in the fair, will detail opportunities in areas like Business studies, Engineering, IT and Computing, Food and Dairy technology, Plant science and Horticulture, Hospitality and Hotel management, Nursing, Viticulture, Forestry and Sports Management.
Expert councillors present at the fair would be resolving queries of students regarding visa, accommodation, fees, food, climate and support services, the statement stated.
