Manipuri millitants held in Asom

Guwahati, Apr 12 (UNI) A joint team of Manipur and Asom police arrested four militants of Manipur-based outfits today.

Police sources said the four militants, identified as Abdul Noor alias Danish and Nasir Khan alias Boy alias Kesorjit belonged to the PULF outfit, while H Iboyaima alias James alias Yama and Abdul Razzak of Lilong were PREPAK activists.

They were arrested at Paltan Bazar here.

The militants were granted transit remand by the CJM court and will be taken to Imphal tomorrow.
