Kalbaishakhi rain brings down temperature

Agartala, Apr 12 (UNI) The Kalbaishakhi(Norwester) rain in the city and other parts of Tripura today brought down the temperature by 10 degree celcius.

People here and in other parts of the state were forced to use warm clothes because of the dip in the temperature, with cold wind as the maximum temperature climbed down by 10 degree celcius.

Total rainfall today was recorded 15.9 mm and this season so far the same was 233.0 mm.

In its forcast for the next 24 hours, the sources said sky generally would remain cloudy with few spells of rain or thundershowers and one or two spell of moderate rain due to Kalbaishakhi.

Maximum temperature recorded at 24.9 and minimum 18.7 degree celcius respectively while the humidity maximum was cent per cent and minimum 68.
