Child Labour Act should be abolished: Siddiki
Akola, Apr 12 (UNI) Maharashtra State Minority Commission (MSMC) chairman Nasim Siddiki is of the opinion that Child Labour Act should be abolished since the government has failed in providing jobs to all job-seekers Addressing reporters here yesterday, Mr Siddiki said the government, instead, should adopt childern to ensure their overall development.
Mr Siddiki noted that no parents will willingly make their children work at a tender age but are forced to do so in order to sustain their livelihood.
Meanwhile, to an unrelated query, he said that Afzal Guru, convicted in the Parliament attack case, shuld be hanged to death.
