1,080 kg marijuana seized from truck, driver arrested

New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) In an early morning seizure police seized more than a thousand kg of marijuana from a truck in Mongolpuri area of North-West Delhi.

The truck, carrying 1,080 kg of marijuana in 35 bags, was stopped near 'B' Block Mongolpuri at about 0200 hrs by a PCR van, said the police.

The driver of the truck Rajesh (30) has been arrested and investigations are on to ascertain the origin of the drug, police added.
