Dental students take out rally as part of World Health Day
Chennai, Apr 7 (UNI) About 1000 students of the private Ragas Dental College today took out a rally at the Marina Beach to commemorate the World Health Day.
The students , both boys and girls, took out the rally along a distance of one km. They carried placards with captions highlighting the ill-effects of cigarette smoking, consumption of tobacco and pan masala.
South Chennai Deputy Commissioner of Police Prabhakaran flagged off the rally in the presence of College Chairman Prof Kanakaraj and College Principal S Ramachandran.
Ragas Dental College, a constituent college of Jaya Educational Trust, has been recognised one of the pioneer dental institutes in the country, offering dental education for the past 18 years.
