5 members of a Rajasthani family killed in Haryana accident

Hisar, Apr 7 (UNI) Five members of a family hailing from Rajasthan were killed when their car dashed into a tree after the driver dozed off near Hansi in Hisar district of Haryana early today.

According to police, the family from Vijaynagar in Rajasthan was on its way to Delhi airport to see off three of its members who were scheduled to take a flight to Dubai.

As the vehicle neared Hansi in the early hours, the driver dozed off and lost control of the car which dashed into a roadside tree, police said.

The driver Bhagirath and passengers Sandoora Singh, Bhikkar Singh, Mohan Singh and Manjeet died on the spot while other six family members were injured.

Two of the injured were stated to be in serious condition and have been referred to PGI, Rohtak, while the other four have been admitted ton the Hansi Civil Hospital.
