Mundra port oil pipeline linked to Kandla-Panipat pipeline project

Bhuj, Apr 6 (UNI) Mundra Adani port in Gulf of Kutch was today linked by oil pipeline with the 1,174 km long existing Kandla-Panipat pipeline project.

IOC Chairman Sarthak Behuria inaugurated the Rs 300 crore 74km-long pipeline between Mundra-Kandla for transporting imported crude oil.

With this, IOC can now unload and transport imported crude from Vadinar and Mundra ports.

The Mundra pipeline will transfer oil to Panipat in Haryana using single point mooring at Mundra. Eight crude oil storage tanks of 60,000 litres capacity each are being installed at Mundra for this purpose.
