Financial monitoring of budget is must: Raje
Jaipur, Apr 5 (UNI) Reiterating her resolve to bring Rajasthan to the status of developed states, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said constant financial monitoring of the Budget is a must.
In a programme titled ''Mukhyamantri se sidhi baat' aired on Akashvani's Jaipur Kendra, Mrs Raje said the annual budget has been prepared with the right mind and in the right direction.
For the financial monitoring of Budget, she said three things should be kept in mind. The Centre government has applauded the state government for its financial foresight.
She said following a policy of co-operation, the government has taken up the task of bringing together all sections of the people and have made budgetary allocations for each.
Mrs Raje said private agencies monitor the implementation of Budgetary policies and plans and at least 96 per cent budgetary announcements in the last Budget have already been implemented.
Speaking about year planning, Mrs Raje said the next plan will put emphasis on power. Private-Public Partnership (PPP) would be encouraged in tourism, power, irrigation and the mid-day meal started in schools is a good example of PPP, she said.
Mrs Raje said the Honda company would set up a industrial township worth Rs 8000 crore in the area adjoining Haryana's highly developed Gurgaon industrial area.
