Curfew relaxed in Narsinghgarh town of MP
Rajgarh, MP, Apr 5: Curfew was today relaxed for two hours from 0700 hrs to 0900 hrs for women and children at Narsinghgarh town in Rajgarh district.
''No untoward incident was reported and the situation was completely under control,'' Inspector General of Police Sanjeev Kumar Singh said.
Curfew was imposed in Narsinghgarh town on April 2 following tension in the wake of stone-pelting and subsequent arson targeting shops and vehicles.
Mr Singh said 111 incidents of arson had taken place.
As many as 131 people had been detained in this district, while police were searching for other criminals.
Further relaxation in curfew would be provided in evening after reviewing the situation.
