Railway employee among 2 killed and 17 injured in Kashmir accidents
Srinagar Apr 3 (UNI) Two persons, including a railways employee, were killed and 17 others including two policemen injured in separate accidents in the state, a police spokesman said.
He said a Railway employee identified as Sardar Singh, son of Dana Singh, resident of Bossana, Punjab, died was electricuted at Bhoomi Development Railway project, Gulbagh Tunnel, in district Kulgam.
A scooterist Ghulam Nabi Ganie was killed when he was hit by a speeding bus at Buchoo in south Kashmir district of Anantnag today.
Police Assistant Sub-Inspector Fayaz Ahmad Mir and head constable Bashir Ahmad were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling was hit by a truck at Lethpora on Kashmir highway.
The injured were hospitalised.
Fourteen passengers were injured when a matador collided with a load carrier at Siligam in Anantnag district today. The injured were hospitalised.
