Kuldeep Singh, Rajeev Sharma sworn in HP High Court judges

Shimla, Apr 3 (UNI) Mr Kuldeep Singh and Mr Rajeev Sharma were today sworn in as Additional Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, an official spokesman said.

The two were sworn in at a simple and an impressive ceremony, which was attended by Justices Deepak Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Dev Darshan Goel, V K Ahuja, Surender Singh Thakur and Sanjay Karol among others.

The spokesman said the President of India's assent had already been received for the appointment of these two senior advocates as additional judges of the High Court.

The strength of judges in the HP High Court had once come down to three as against nine judges besides a Chief Justice, he added.
