AP BC Sangham to file review petition on OBC quota in SC
Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Backward Class Sangham will file a review petition in the Supreme Court on its recent stay on 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in central institutions in the country.
Sangham president and former MP T Bala Goud, talking to mediapersons here today said it was unfortunate that the Apex court had stayed the OBC reservation in the educational institutions even after the Parliament had enacted a law in this regard.
Demanding that the Centre conduct a BC census immediately, he urged all political parties to take steps to amend the Constitution ensuring 27 per cent reservation to OBCs in higher education.
