Asian Paints to market products in Oman with 'Berger' name

Dubai, Apr 2 (UNI) Asian Paints has decided to market all its products under the 'Berger' brand in Oman for its West Asian operations.

This is being done to bring in more synergies within the three groups of companies currently operating in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

''Asian Paints is represented in the UAE and Bahrain as Berger Paints and hence it was very logical to move towards a Berger platform in Oman as well,'' the company said.

Though the company name remains unchanged, all the products will come under the Berger umbrella brand that would call for changes in can designs and dealer signage.

Asian Paints is one of the leading paint company in India and ranks among the top ten decorative-coating companies in the world with a turnover of 650 million dollars.
