Lord Malayappaswamy taken out on Golden chariot

Tirumala, Apr 1 (UNI) Hundreds of devotees pulled the Golden chariot of Lord Malayappaswamy on the second day of the three-day annual "Vasanthotsavam" at Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara, here today.

The deity along with his consorts Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi was taken out in a procession with the devotees chanting "Govinda Govinda" through the four Mada streets of the temple.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B Karunakar Reddy, Executive Officer A P V N Sarma and others also went along the route of the procession.
