Bollywood star Salman Khan to unveil plans about his NGO on KBC

Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Bollywood star Salman Khan, who has always been in the limelight for reasons other than his screen performances or charitable causes he is involved in, ready to set to up a foundation which will render support to the poor and needy.

The brawny actor will unveil plans regarding his NGO named Salman Khan Foundation on a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 (KBC) to be aired on April 19.

The episode was shot on Wednesday with Khan and actress Katrina Kaif on the hot seats. Wednesday was the last day of the shooting of KBC. The show went on air in January this year. The first two seasons were hosted by Superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

It is perhaps for the first time that Salman and Katrina, fresh from the success of her recent film 'Namaste London' will appear together in public. Even though they are reported to be seeing each other for a long time, they have never declared their relationship.

Salman will be appearing on a live television show for the first time. Filmmaker Karan Johar has been saying that he tried his best to get Salman on his talk show 'koffee with Karan' in the first season, but did not succeed. Shah Rukh Khan, however, has managed to persuade Salman to participate in the celebrity show of KBC.

The winning amount from the show will be donated to the Salman Khan Foundation, Star Plus sources said.

The special episode will also feature Bollywood beauties Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor on the hot seat.
