Jt Secy Defence takes over as Meghalaya Chief Secretary

Shillong, Mar 31(UNI) Meghalaya government has appointed Mr Ranjan Chatterjee as the new Chief Secretary of the state here today.

Mr Chatterjee took over the charge from S K Tewari who retired today.

Prior to this appointment, Mr Chatterjee was the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence.
