Delhi Assy notification for election of financial house committees

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) The Delhi Legislative Assembly has issued notification for election of three financial committees.

Informing about the election of the three committees- the Public accounts committee, the committee on Government undertakings and the estimates committee- Delhi Assembly Speaker Ch Prem Singh said,''the full process has been completed for the election of the members of the three committees.'' While members of the public accounts committee include MLAs Vijay Lochav, Charan Singh Kandera, Rajesh Jain, Harsharan Singh Balli and Ramesh Bidhuri, the committee on government undertaking has as its members Tarvinder Singh Marwah, Ramesh Lamba, Ashok Ahuja and Vijay Jolly. The estimates committee comprises Ms Anjali Rai, Zile Singh Chauhan, Ms Kiran Walia and Saheb Singh Chauhan.

Ch Prem Singh said he announced the programme for constitution of the committees on March 21 and last date of the election was declared as March 30. With the end of the day, the members were elected unopposed.

The committees are considered as a 'Mini House' as they enjoy all power which the Legislative Assembly enjoys.
