TN bandh: SWR announces cancellation/reschedule of trains

Bangalore, Mar 30 (UNI) The South Western Railway today announced the cancellation/rescheduling of certain trains in view of the dawn-to-dusk bandh in Tamil Nadu tomorrow.

A SWR release here said the Chennai Central-Mysore Shatabdi Express, Bangalore-Chennai Central Shatabdi Express, Bangalore-Coimbatore Express, Chennai Central-Bangalore Brindavan Express, Bangalore-Chennai Central Lal Bagh Express, Bangalore-Chennai Central Express, Bangalore-Salem Passenger and Salem-Yesvantpur-Salem Passenger have been fully cancelled tomorrow.

It said Mysore-Chennai Central Kaveri Express would be terminated at Arakkonam, Mysore-Tuticorin Express would run till Dindigul, Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express till Kumbakonam, Kakinada-Bangalore City Express till Katpadi and Bangalore City-Chennai-Bangalore City Passenger to run up to Jolarpettai and back.

The SWR also rescheduled the timings of Thiruvananthapuram-Mumbai Express, Bangalore City-Darbhanga Express and Coimbatore-Lokmanya Tilak Express.
