Three killed, one injured in road accident in Shimla

Shimla, Mar 30 (UNI) Three members of a family were killed and another seriously injured after their car fell into a gorge in this district of Himachal Pradesh early today, police sources said.

The accident occurred at Chol, near Kotkhai and about 65 km from here, in the district at about 0845 hrs, while the car was on its way to Shimla from Rohru.

The injured, identified as Rohit, 22, has been referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) here, the sources said.

The deceased have been identified as Raja Ram and his two sons Lokinder and Harvinder.

The cause of the accident was, however, not immediately known. A case has been registered and investigations were on, the sources added.
