PM to have 10 bilateral meetings on sidelines of SAARC Summit
New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will have 10 bilateral meetings with Presidents and Prime Ministers of SAARC member countries, and Foreign Ministers of three Observers, on the sidelines of the 14th SAARC Summit here.
These include meetings with the Presidents of Afghanistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka and the Prime Ministers of Pakistan, Nepal and Bhutan.
He will also meet the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh.
Foreign Ministers of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea will call on the Prime Minister. All three countries, alongwith US and the EU, are participating in the April 3-4 Summit as Observers.
Meetings with the Afghanistan President, the Prime Ministers of Nepal and Bhutan and the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh will be held on April two while bilaterals with the Presidents of Sri Lanka and the Maldives and the Prime Minister of Pakistan will take place on April 4.
The Foreign Ministers of Observer countries--China, Japan and Republic of Korea will separately call on the Prime Minister on April 3.
