OBC quota: BC body gives bandh call on Apr 4

Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Association today gave a state-wide bandh call on April 4 in protest against the Supreme Court's stay order on 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in Central educational institutions.

Stating as unfortunate the Apex's Court order, Association President R Krishnaiah threatened the BC organisations would stall admissions to all Central institutions until they implemented OBC reservation.

Demanding all political parties express their stand on the OBC reservation and the court order, he urged them to launch massive movements to provide quota to them, a press release said here.
