No liquor sale on Good Friday in Kerala: MLA

Kottayam, Mar 30 (UNI) Mr V N Vasavan, MLA, today said all liquor shops in the state would remain closed on 'Good Friday.' At a news conference here, he said in reply to his submission in the Assembly, government had issued necessary order in the regard.

According to the order, 'all liquor shops, including bar hotels and other establishments selling and serving liquor will remain closed on 'Good Friday.' (April six, 2007).

The excise commissioner would take necessary action in the regard, the government order said.
