Mercury rises in parts of AP
Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) Mercury soared in parts of Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours as dry weather prevailed over the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celcius was recorded at Kadapa, the weather office here said.
The maximum temperatures rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh but fell at one or two places over Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema.
They were above normal at many places over Rayalaseema, at a few places over Telangana and normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
The minimum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh but rose at one or two places over Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema. They were significantly below normal at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at a few places over Rayalaseema and normal over Telangana.
The lowest minimum temperature of 17 degree Celcius was recorded at Arogyavaram.
Mainly dry weather was likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema in the next 48 hours.
Hyderabad would have partly cloudy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 37 and 22 degree Celcius respectively.
