Indian, Pakistan PMs to hold bilateral meeting on Apr 4

New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) India and Pakistan will hold another meeting to discuss the ongoing Composite Dialogue Process (CDP) here on April 4 on the sidelines of the 14th SAARC Summit.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will have a bilateral meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Shoukat Aziz who will arrive here on April 2 to attend the 14th SAARC Summit on April 3-4, A senior official of the External Affairs Ministry said the entire gamut of bilateral relations will be discussed at the meeting.

''We will discuss the entire relationship including the Joint Anti-terror Mechanism. That is one of the mechanisms. We will discuss that as well,'' the official added.

Asked whether all SAARC member contries agreed to Pakistan's issue of the definition of terrorism, the official said ''the (International) Convention on Terrorism makes it clear, from our point of view, what terrorism is. I think quite frankly, when you see terrorism you know it. I do not think we need to get into a semantic discussion of what terrorism is or is not. I think most people, most reasonable people, when they see terrorism they know what it is. I think more important is that we do something about it.

That is the important thing about terrorism that we must stop terrorism and we need to do it together.'' Mr Aziz who will have the meeting with Dr Singh in the morning, will leave for Islamabad the same evening.
