New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today said the government would adopt measures to vacate the Supreme Court stay order on the reservation for OBC in central educational institutions.

Talking to reporters here, Dr Singh said the OBCs already have reservation in government jobs under the Mandal Commission, so getting the reservation extended to educational institutions would not be difficult.

Moreover, a nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court had ratified the Mandal Commission implementation in 1992 so it will not be a major problem to provide the OBCs with better opportunity of education.
