Bavarian Minister-President to visit Bangalore tomorrow
Bangalore, Mar 30 (UNI) Germany's Bavarian Minister-President Dr Edmund Stoiber will be visiting the city tomorrow as part of his ten-day South-East Asia tour that includes Korea, Vietnam and Singapore.
Bavaria has a strong presence in India with over 250 companies from all major sectors. Likewise, Indian IT majors Wipro, Satyam, TCS and companies like Reliance, Tata and Dr Reddy's have started their operations from that State.
Dr Stoiber would be leading a high-level economic and science delegation to the State for exploring opportunities in scientific as well as economic spheres.
During his visit, he would sign an MoU, enhancing ties between Karnataka and Bavaria. The MoU would envisage facilitation of favourable conditions for cooperation and collaborative projects in the areas of trade and investment, information and communication technology, biotechnology and genetic engineering and infrastructure, a release from Bavaria India office said here today.
