Azad condemns killings of Hindu labourers in Rajouri
Jammu, Mar 30 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today condemned the brutual killings of five road labourers, belonging to a minority community, in Rajouri district late last night.
Mr Azad visited military hospital at Satwari here to see the condition of wounded labourers, who were airlifted from Rajouri this morning.
The Chief Minister said the incident was an act committed by militants under frustration.
He advised the concerned army doctors to take all possible steps to save their lives.
A group of four militants attacked a labours' camp under the jurisdiction of police post Tharyath at 2230 hrs yesterday and started indiscriminate firing which left five dead and three critically injured.
However, three fellow labourers managed to escape and informed the nearest army camp.
Security forces have launched a search operation to hunt the killers.
