Al-Badr militant killed, ammunition recovered in Rajouri

Jammu, Mar 30 (UNI) An Al-Badr militant was killed at Barreri Morha Khani forests, while security forces today recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from Thana Mandi tehsil in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

A joint troop of police and army rounded Al-Badr militant Sher Khan, alias Pathan, at Barreri Morha Khani forest area where he was killed after a fierce gun battle, sources said.

An AK rifle, three AK magazines, three hand grenades, 60 AK rounds, one mobile set with three batteries and three photographs of deceased militants were recovered from his possession.

Meanwhile, security forces recovered a cache comprising 300 AK rounds and 1.5 kgs explosive material at Baleh Lah in Thana Mandi tehsil of the district.
