Advocates to boycott Madras HC Apr 2 on quota issue
Chennai, Mar 30 (UNI) The Madras High Court Advocates' Association today decided to hold a court boycott on April 2 to protest the Supreme Court stay order on providing 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in the Centrally-administered educational institutions.
The Association passed a resolution to this effect at an emergeny meeting. Earlier, lawyers staged a demonstration at the court premises carrying placards and black flags.
They said the court order was against social justice and deprived OBCs of their rights.
