Husband gets capital punishment, wife awarded life imprisonment

Samastipur, Mar 29 (UNI) A Fast Track court today awarded capital punishment to Ganesh Shah for killing his parents, while his wife was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment in the same case.

According to the FIR, Ganesh Shah along with his wife Dana Devi killed his parents Ram Awtar Shah and Draupadi Devi with sharp edged weapons on August 31, 1999, at Bawanpur village under Khanpur police station in the district.

Ganesh also killed his brother Suresh Shah on the same day.
