GM rolls out new Chevy Optra Platinum at Rs 8.25 lakh

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) General Motors India today unveiled special edition of its Chevrolet Optra Platinum model with only 250 units to be rolled out at a price of Rs 8,24,399 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The new model of the popular luxury sedan and will be available in two new exclusive shades, Icy Blue and Shimmering Black, featuring elegant new exterior accoutrements and stylish interior elements.

''A total of only 250 units of this vehicle will be available to the customers who will also receive a three-year/1,00,000-km warranty,'' GM India Vice-President P Balendran said.

Among other additional features, Chevrolet Optra Platinum sports a platinum badge on the trunk lid, a chrome kit for the front lower bumper, outer rear view mirror and tail-lamps, a sporty gear knob and a 1 DIN MP3 music system and a rear spoiler.

Besides expanding its carlines, GM India is also expanding its dealership network from 76 to 114 sales points by the year-end.

In addition, two new parts distribution centres have been set up in Maharashtra and New Delhi to supplement the two original centres in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
