Dry weather to prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, WB

Pune, Mar 29 (UNI) Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep.

Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Gujarat.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, madhya Maharashtra, parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and remaining parts of Gujarat.

Day temperatures were above normal in some partrs of West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala and remaining parts of Tamil Nadu.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of West Bengal and Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, south Gujarat and were above normal in north Gujrat and coastal Karnataka. They were normal over rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
