Man bridled and paraded in Dholpur village

Dholpur, Mar 28 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, a man was bridled and paraded at Jagariyapura village in Dholpur district of Rajasthan.

A land dispute is said to be the reason behind the inhuman act.

According to a complaint registered by the victim, Gokul Kushawaha and his wife today, four brothers -- Gopal, Navel, Devi Singh and Om Prakash -- of the village forcibly pierced Gokul's nose, looped a string and then paraded him through the village yesterday.

The victim also alleged that they also outraged the modesty of his wife.

District Suprintendent of Police Praful Kumar told UNI that a complaint was registered at Saipau police station and they were inquiring into the matter.

However, no arrests have been made so far, he added.
